Cost-effective, scalable and powerful computing platform with individually configurable interfaces for railway applications. EN 50155 compliant.
A modern, reliable infrastructure forms the basis for modern rail services. Benefit from a modular concept for high-performance computing power that can be individually adapted to your application and enjoy the advantages of a scalable system.
The computing platform PCEye MC-R consists of a CPU unit and power supply and is customer-specific expandable with a variety of digital I/O modules for a wide variety of interfaces. With the ability to add wireless modules such as Wi-Fi or 5G/LTE, the Box PC turns into a wireless access point, router or wireless gateway, giving you even more flexibility. Flexible mounting options such as DIN rails, wall mount and 19" rack mount allow it to be installed in any environment.
This unique modular principle lays the foundation for a wide variety of applications:
Multiple CPU options for scalability and optimal performance
Large selection of interfaces for the acquisition of sensor data
WLAN, 5G/LTE or Gigabit Ethernet for transmitting data
Options for DIN rail, wallmount and 19" rack mounting
Railway-compliant, robust design
Designed and manufactured in Germany
Base model with CPU and power supply
incl. radio modules for data transmission
up to 7 I/O modules
ModBlox7 is an open, modular hardware standard for building scalable box PCs. The advantages lie in the cost-effective design of the systems and the flexible interchangeability of the components to tailor the platform to your tasks and shorten the time-to-market.
The specification of the PICMG defines the housing mechanics, the modular functional units and the electrical networking of the units. The standard guarantees the interoperability of the devices for manufacturers as well as interoperability for the users of the Box PC, while combining the advantages of modular systems and highly integrated cost-sensitive Box PC solutions.
