The gateway supports LTE Cat 6 with download speeds up to 300 Mbps and 50 Mbps upload speed. When using five LTE modules in parallel the bandwidth will be increased up to 1.5 Gbps. Four SIM sockets per LTE interface offer multi-provider support or least cost routing.
The multi-user MIMO (MU-MIMO) according to Wi-Fi standard IEEE 802.11ac Wave 2 enables even faster surfing. This increases the maximum throughput from 1.3 GBps to 1.7 GBps with four streams. In addition to the optional Wave 2 module, up to four 11ac modules with 3 x 3 MIMO can be added. The modules are backwards compatible with Wi-Fi standard IEEE 802.11n.
Dual radio version with 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz standard. 11ac can be used at 5 GHz and 11n at 2.4 GHz for older end devices and at the same time a longer range.
An optional internal SSD in the m.2 form factor enables storage and access to local data such as timetable information, videos, etc.
The integrated ultra-wide-range power supply is fully compliant with EN 50155, Class S2 and tolerates interruptions of up to 10 ms. As an option, power can be supplied via Power-over-Ethernet (PoE).
For long backbone distances daisy chaining can be applied by bridging two Ethernet interfaces eliminating the costs for external switches.
The optionally available bypass function ensures signal transmission within the backbone even if one of the gateways connected in series fails.
Easy-to-use web interface for remote configuration of the access points, monitoring of settings, and for installing updates.
A configurable firewall protects personal data of client devices against unauthorized access (client isolation) and supports the secure and interference-free data exchange with the Internet.
The wireless gateway is designed according to the international standard EN 50155. Components have to meet the strictest environmental requirements, e.g. an extended temperature range. In addition, they must be resilient to shocks and vibrations.
