Automotive Dual LTE router (Cat 6) and IEEE 802.11ac access point with integrated Gigabit Ethernet switch and additional interfaces. E1 compliant.
The router supports two independent LTE Cat 6 modules with download speeds up to 600 Mbps and 100 Mbps upload speed. For higher availability you can use redundant transmission paths. Two SIM sockets per LTE interface offer multi-provider support or least cost routing.
The integrated IEEE 802.11ac Wi-Fi module with 3x3 MIMO enables a throughput of up to 1.3 Gbps. When using a second optional Wi-Fi module, the bandwidth even doubles to up to 2.6 Gbps. The wireless access point is backwards compatible with the Wi-Fi standard IEEE 802.11n for older devices and a longer range.
Digital end devices such as IP cameras can be connected to the router via the 5-port Ethernet switch.
Two free sockets allow automotive-specific I/O extensions for vehicle buses such as CAN. Further modules for IBIS, RS232, RS485, ODB2 or digital I/O will follow.
The integrated automotive power supply is fully compliant with E1 and tolerates input voltages from 9 to 30 V.
An optional internal SSD in the m.2 form factor enables storage and access to local data such as timetable information, videos, etc.
Easy-to-use web interface for easy remote configuration of the router, monitoring of settings, and for installing updates. Maintenance and monitoring of the devices via remote control systems are also possible with SNMP and shell scripts.
A configurable firewall protects personal data of client devices against unauthorized access (client isolation) and supports the secure and interference-free data exchange with the Internet. Unauthorized access is prevented both to end devices that have dialed into the same access point and across devices to end devices that are logged into different ELTEC access points.
The automotive router is designed according to the international standard E1. Components have to meet the strictest environmental requirements for use in mobile applications, e.g. an extended temperature range. In addition, they must be resilient to shocks and vibrations.
